Spam Blacklist — FAQ
What happens if my IP is blacklisted?
Email servers that check the blacklist will reject or mark as spam any email sent from your IP. This can severely impact email deliverability. You'll need to identify the cause of the listing (usually a compromised device sending spam) and then submit a delisting request to each blacklist.
How do I check which blacklist my IP is on?
This tool checks your IP against all major blacklists simultaneously. Look for any entries marked as "Listed" in the results. Each blacklist has a removal process — click the blacklist name to visit their delisting page.
How long does blacklist removal take?
Automatic removals typically happen within 24 hours to 30 days once your sending behaviour improves. Manual delisting requests are usually processed within 24–48 hours if you meet the removal criteria. Spamhaus, Barracuda, and SORBS are the most impactful lists to prioritise.
