Tool data — not collected: All security tools on 2faco (password generator, 2FA code generator, hash generator, JWT decoder, etc.) run entirely in your browser. Secret keys, passwords, tokens, and hashes are never transmitted to our servers.

3. Cookies

We use the following categories of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary: A single 2faco-theme key in localStorage stores your dark/light mode preference. This is local to your device only.
  • Analytics cookies: We use Google Analytics (or similar) to understand aggregate traffic patterns. These cookies collect anonymised data about site usage.
  • Advertising cookies: We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. AdSense may place cookies to serve personalised ads based on your browsing history. See Section 5 for full details.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. Disabling advertising cookies will result in non-personalised ads rather than no ads.

We do not store personal data on our servers beyond what is strictly necessary (e.g. email support messages, retained for up to 12 months). Analytics and advertising data is retained and processed by Google in accordance with Google’s own data retention policies.

2faco is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
